  1. Don't get the wrong point out of this video, I'm going to comment this early just so people know. I do feel aim assist helps, but I believe it won't make a drastic change in your gameplay. If you play with something lower, it won't make you do as worse as you might think. Keep an open mind to other weapons that don't have as high of an aim assist, you just might be surprised. In the end aim assist does help, just doesn't make a drastic change.

  2. It's not going to show when youre slowly sliding across a target. In a real situation, you would have your reticle on the target and maybe try a dragscope, which aim assist would definetly help in as your making a quick drag and might miss a few centimeters. I do agree that its not that game changing but it helps but its not noticable. You won't realize how much it helps till you take it away

  3. Why doesn't Bungie just openly state what Aim Assist is and how it's different to Target Acquisition or what not, because I can tell from using the Bitter Edge versus an Eirene that there is definitely a difference

  4. Like you say it doesnt make a drastic change. But I't might be that teeny weeny help that helps you on that 7th kill that's leads you to a 10 kill-streak and then again on your 13th kill. Know what I mean? The margin for error is so low that any bit of help will benefit you in the long run. The same can be said with range on weapon. How big of a difference is 8m vs 10m on shotgun? Or a 28m vs 31m hand cannon. It sounds like almost nothing. In most scenarios it wont be a key factor (key factor will be skill: positioning, aim and so on) but it does come into clutch several times per game.
