  1. He skipped the Rupture in the same shop he picked up the Blue Candle. Probably not a huge deal, but that's a snap pick for me. The more Ruptures the better

  2. When you are playing with super thicc decks, pick up curses. You want to get at least 5 (it gives you 100 points) and they have almost no impact on your run with a deck that thicc, so whatever benefit you get for picking them up is almost definitely worth while
edit: if you'd taken that extra curse on the first floor instead of taking the 16 damage, you'd have won the run 😛

  3. "I didn't play that Metalicize because I was too caught up."

4 turns later dies by enough dmg that the extra 16 block would have saved him.

  4. legit i am so fucking fed up of these comments and dislikes, can you people grow the fuck up? NL plays the game for fun and people have never been watching NL for the perfect plays in every game. He is above average at many games, never claiming to be a god at them, and is enjoyed for his commentary and personality. If you don't like it, fuck off and watch someone else instead of constantly leaving negativity and vitriol all over the place. Honestly. Especially you, iamBrian.

  5. I am in physical pain from your misplays, especially playing the curse when you have runic doedeca, i just dont understand

  6. Why’s everybody so mad, he puts out this content for us, for free. Loved the vid, keep it up NL!

  7. I've been without service and I've caught back up. NL IS KILLIN IT IN A20. I'm hyped for this episode even though it isn't an A20 W

  8. You need to look at the bigger picture when you make decisions. Of course you need to look at your deck. Oh, look, you have 100 perfected strikes. You should focus on improving those and drawing them. First relic, why calling bell? 3 strength is hardly anything when you have so many 2 energy attacks. It's worth so much more to play two perfected strikes in a turn, or a perfected and a clothesline. Etc.

Also, I don't know how you don't understand burning pact and sentinel.

Just. Stop and think. Slow down and think. A20 runs should take you at least an hour to get to the boss.

  9. NL, people only get mad because you very obviously put more thought into dailies than you do into the A20 runs. You make mistakes and some of them are obvious but when you're sitting and doing math in dailies, thinking about your draw, thinking about interplay between things like Blue Candle and Centennial Puzzle (Which, Runic Dodeca was a better thing to keep kicking but at least you were thinking), etc. and then get into A20 and go "I don't know, I guess I'll take Body Slam with nothing but default blocks" and don't path at all (only checking boss like 4 floors before fighting, for example) it's just ridiculous.

This is to say nothing of the fact that dailies instill bad habits because you're allowed to get away with worse play and a higher rate of mistakes. Circumstances in dailies basically never appear in A20 and so they're unrepresentative of A20 play. They just end up making people think that they can get away with more than is possible in A20.
