  1. It should be. Webroot is a very minimalistic antivirus, but even so,
running multiple antivirus software side-by-side will usually cause
conflicts regardless of how seamless they appear to be or how integrated
the manufacturer claims they are. Thanks for the comment!

  2. Hey man I just got this on my windows 8 pc, and I was wondering if windows
defender and webroot were supposed to be working at the same time…… It
says that my pc is being protected by defender but I n the webroot app it
says that I am being protected by webroot…

  3. No, it is never a good idea to have multiple antivirus/antispyware programs
running at the same time. If you have Webroot, it is safe to disable
Windows Defender. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!

  4. Sure! Maftoox Antivirus is scheduled for September 1. Because I do not test
standalone firewalls, I will test Emsisoft Internet Security Pack which
will also be scheduled for September 1, 2012. Sorry for the delay in
uploading your request, many others have been submitted to the queue before
    yours. Thanks for the comment!

  5. Avast makes really good product. Easy to use, light, awesome interface. All
around a great product. Thanks for the comment, and sorry to hear about
    your bad experiences with Webroot.

  6. Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete doesn’t cause conflicts with other
security programs so i heard from webroot web site and so far it was true
when i had the webroot essentials and kaspersky internet security 2012 now
i’m wondering if it’ll be the same 4 webroot complete and kaspersky pure???

  7. I would say Avast or Kaspersky. If you do a lot of online shopping/banking
go for Avast Internet Security or Kaspersky Internet Security. If you head
over to avastDOTcom/products#tab4, you can get Avast Internet Security,
EasyPass Password manager, and 25GB of Avast online backup space for
$89.97. If you don’t do online banking/shopping that much, stick with Avast
    free. Thanks for the comment!

  8. Hey, good video and I have one question; Would Webroot Internet Security
2013 with Malwarebytes PRO and SUPERantispyware free be sufficient
protection? I have a laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, 1st gen. core
i3, and 8 GB RAM. Also, how is Kaspersky compared to Webroot? .

  9. To answer your first question; Yes, that would be sufficient protection.
For an added layer of security, try browsing with Google Chrome instead of
Internet Explorer/Firefox/Safari/Opera. Tests have shown that it is more
secure and stable and has more access to the Google Threat Database. As for
Kaspersky vs Webroot, we would have to say that they are equally matched
and at that point, it comes down to interface appeal. Thanks for the
    comment!
