  1. All of those who have played Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne should know that Blizzard is capable of SO much better when it comes to storyline and characters….WoW simply doesnt do either of those justice!….And this intro would simply have been perfect for WC IV, cause it’s basicly has the same song as in the end of TFT…that thing is what always will sadden me, that this was awesome trailer/intro, but for the wrong game that didnt do justice to Arthas and his story

  2. The only bad thing about this trailer is that it wasnt for Warcraft IV…..darn it Blizzard!…. if you ever return Warcraft back to RTS (as it should be) Warcraft IV BETTER continue where Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne ended….such great character as Arthas deserves better ending than to die as some damn WoW raidboss, in some lame WoW ingame animation and worst of all get “replaced” by some never-heard Bolvar!

If Warcraft IV doesnt include Arthas (and Illidan), I rather not have WC IV at all

  3. I was quite pissed when i first saw this lich king ripoff:

    /watch?v=ZCc8Sn8TyLE

    but then i LOL’D 🙂

  4. “my son the day you were born the devs at blizzard wisperd the word profit” lol

  5. Still it’s a bit of a shame that a guy that killed Horde’s mightiest champion with one swing of his sword dies by 10-25 dumbasses and Tyrion. I mean the Lich King could destroy all Azeroth if he wanted to. The only thing that was holding him back was the good part of Arthas inside him.

  6. Pasue this at 0:49 and then make a new tab and play /watch?v=cT8hilib_6Q, then resume the cinematic, sit back and enjoy 🙂

  7. But seriously to add to your comment though you are correct you’re leaving out some important info, So keeping in mind what you posted you should have also said, ” Dude you do realize that arthas was a paladin before melganis sent him into a shit storm, and oh btw Tryion was his mentor and close personal friend ” 🙂 His death was poetic and I did love wrath…

  8. “my son the day you were born the devs at blizzard wisperf the word profit”

  9. ” tyrion had the power of all the former wielders of the ashbringer” you got that from the movie : / n arthas shouldve been purified likein the movie : /

  10. But well , if Tirion tried soloing The Lich King.
He’d probably fail with all the power he has .
Dude , Lich King is special.

  11. Yes, they could have done better. But Ashbringer is very powerful against undead. King Magni Bronzebeard forged the blade himself upon The Great Anvil, infusing it with rage and vengeance for his brother Muradin Bronzebeard whom was believed to have fallen before Frostmourne.

  12. no, Uther lead the Silver Hand, Tirion leads the Argent Dawn and according to the lore Tirion is the most powerful of them all…

  13. Look at Argent Aid quest line, prerequ is the Opportunity quest line (look on wowhead-com)

  14. Wouldn’t Arthas have actually stabbed straight through the bone, therefore breaking it?

  15. Yeah, I know they’d come up with a bullshit plot. Playing as Scourge faction again would be my take on the perfect WC4. I mean, wasn’t that technically how it was intended, ending WC3 with this guy becoming a fucking god and WC4 following with his campaign across the world against shitloads of other factions. That’d be perfect.

  16. Yeah, they should’ve made a Warcraft 4 with this opening cinematic in which you get to play Scourge faction again as the Lich King himself, takes place during the Shattering as well and get to fight everyone, Horde, Alliance, Deathwing, and conquer all once again.

  17. The death of Arthas was still lame as hell. Arthas was still Extremely strong and if anything one swing of Tirion’s sword shouldnt have destroyed Frostmourne
